Robotics

Robotics involves the development, programming, and deployment of robots to automate tasks in industrial and logistics processes. It enables precise, repeatable, and efficient execution of a wide variety of workflows.

In logistics, for example, robotics is used for transportation, order picking, palletizing, sorting, and quality inspections. Modern robotic systems utilize sensors, artificial intelligence, and digital interfaces to perceive their environment and respond flexibly to changes. In combination with conveyor systems, WMS, and automation solutions, robots help accelerate processes, reduce ergonomic strain, and increase process reliability.

Practical example:

In a distribution center, a robot handles the automatic palletizing of cartons and coordinates its movements with conveyor systems and the warehouse management system.
