Shipping refers to the process of handling and transporting goods from the sender to the recipient. Shipping includes packaging, addressing, franking, and handing over the shipments to a transport service provider such as the postal service, parcel service, or freight forwarder. The goods are prepared according to their nature and transport requirements and provided with the necessary shipping documents. Shipping is the last step in the supply chain before delivery to the customer.
