Hazardous materials label
A hazardous materials label is a standardized marking that indicates the presence of hazardous substances or goods. It provides information about the respective hazard class and enables the safe transport, storage, and handling of hazardous materials.
Hazardous materials labels comply with international regulations and are an integral part of hazardous materials legislation in road, rail, maritime, and air transport. Modern image processing and AI systems can automatically recognize these labels and cross-reference them with transport data. This enables the reliable identification of hazardous materials shipments, ensures compliance with legal requirements, and automates safety-related processes.
Practical example:
Before loading, a camera-based inspection system automatically detects the hazardous materials label on a shipping carton and confirms that the shipment is labeled in accordance with transport regulations.

High-bay warehouse
A high-bay warehouse is a storage system featuring particularly tall racking structures designed for space-saving storage of large quantities of goods. It is used for the efficient storage and retrieval of pallets or containers and is often operated automatically.
High-bay warehouses use rack-handling machines, conveyor systems, and warehouse management software to move goods quickly and precisely. By combining these with automatic identification, dimensional scanning, and digital process control, warehouse capacity, throughput, and inventory accuracy can be significantly improved. High-bay warehouses are used primarily in industry, retail, and distribution centers.
Practical example:
After a pallet is automatically measured, the warehouse management system in the high-bay warehouse assigns the optimal storage location and automatically directs the stacker crane to store the pallet.
