Warehousing - Intralogistics encompasses all internal material and information flows within a warehouse or distribution center. This includes goods receipt and goods issue processes, storage and picking, internal transport, and the control and monitoring of these processes using warehouse management systems. Warehouse intralogistics optimizes throughput, minimizes transport routes, and ensures efficient use of available storage space and resources.

Welmec stands for European cooperation in legal metrology and is an organization focused on harmonizing legal metrology in Europe. The organization promotes the uniform application of European and international regulations and the removal of trade barriers for measuring instruments. In addition, they promote the exchange of information and record special features in legal metrology. The Welmec guidelines are only recommendations and do not impose any restrictions or additional technical requirements.
